SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE
You can get a subsidy for:
- investments related to education infrastructure at all levels of education (except kindergartens): construction and modernization works, equipment, especially for the teaching areas contributing to economic growth of the Voivodeship (support for both investments in the development of teaching potential of universities and investments in primary and secondary schools, life-long learning, practical and vocational learning);
- investments in sports infrastructure - improving the quality and accessibility of sports facilities: construction and modernization works, equipment;
- investments in healthcare infrastructure essential for functioning services contributing to general economic growth (in the scope covered in contract with National Health Fund), as well as: purchase and modernization of medical equipment;
- investments in Social assistance, especially construction and modernization works, thermo-modernization, purchasing equipment for public Social assistance houses.

8.1. Teaching and social infrastructure of tertiary schools
- construction and modernization works, equipment including:
o teaching and research infrastructure of tertiary schools (excluding projects of research infrastructure intended for commercial purposes solely),
o social and educational infrastructure of tertiary schools, e.g. student hostels, canteens,
o sports infrastructure in tertiary schools.
Construction works related to technical and sanitary infrastructure and developing the surrounding areas of the above facilities, as well as adapting them to handicapped people's needs, as an element of realizing the above projects.
Support for tertiary schools in their investments covering ICT infrastructure (computers, peripheral devices) will be possible exclusively within comprehensive projects.
8.2. School and sports infrastructure
- construction and modernization works, equipment including:
o teaching and sports infrastructure of primary, secondary and arts schools,
o infrastructure of life-long learning institutions, practical and vocational schools (covered by education system);
o social and educational infrastructure, e.g. boarding houses, dormitories, canteens,
o sports infrastructure, e.g. sports complexes, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sports halls, stadiums, gymnasiums, sports fields, tennis courts.
Support for tertiary schools in their investments covering ICT infrastructure (computers, peripheral devices) will be possible exclusively within comprehensive projects. Equipment, construction works related to technical and sanitary infrastructure and developing the surrounding areas of the above objects, as well as adapting them to handicapped people's needs, will be possible as an element of realizing the above projects.
8.3. Healthcare
Healthcare - projects realized by hospitals:
- purchase and modernization of medical equipment and implementing information technology systems:
o purchase and modernization of medical equipment with an option of room and technical infrastructure fitting for installing the equipment (maximum value of the fittings must not reach 20% of the project value),
o telemedicine, building, developing and purchase of information technology systems supporting the management of public services with regards to healthcare, medical information circulation, medical data storing and processing (e-medicine);
- adaptation works in hospitals to comply with Ministry of Health regulations concerning the specialist and sanitary requirements for public healthcare facilities and equipment;
- hospital thermo-modernizing;
- There is a possibility of realizing comprehensive tasks by complex healthcare centres that consist of hospital and clinic and/or healthcare centre and/or specialist clinic involving ICT equipment, thermo-modernization, adaptation works in hospitals to comply with Ministry of Health directives concerning the specialist and sanitary requirements for public healthcare facilities and equipment. Thermo-modernization and legal compliance can by realized within one building housing the departments of healthcare centre and/or clinics.
Healthcare - projects realized by specialized clinics and healthcare centres :
- purchase and modernization of medical equipment
- telemedicine, building, developing and purchase of information technology systems supporting the management of public services with regards to healthcare, medical information circulation, medical data storing and processing (e-medicine);
- adaptation works in hospitals to comply with Ministry of Health directives concerning the specialist and sanitary requirements for public healthcare facilities and equipment;
- thermo-modernization of specialized clinics and healthcare centres;
- construction works (excluding building, developing and superstructures) in specialized clinics and healthcare centres.
Highly-specialized equipment is excluded from financing.
8.4. Social assistance
Types of projects for Social assistance houses and childcare centres, working within the framework of Social assistance:
- modernization of facilities that render services in the scope of Social assistance;
- adapting Social assistance facilities to comply with the regulation of the Ministry of Social Policy of 19 October 2005 concerning social assistance houses and with the regulation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of 19 October 2007 concerning child care houses;
- thermo-modernization of social assistance buildings.
- There is a possibility of subsidising the works related to developing the adjacent area and purchasing the equipment as supplementary elements of the above projects.
